Description
Hands Dunroman is a purpose built guesthouse, in a quiet country setting on the outskirts of Dingle town. Our four bedrooms are tastefully decorated with natural wooden floors throughout the house. All our bedrooms are en suite, with power showers, double and single orthopaedic beds, and our large family bedroom has a double and two single beds to cater for children. The rooms are fitted with TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers etc. Our large sitting room or lounge is well appointed with high quality furniture and there is also a sunroom with glass patio door that captures the last rays of the evening sunshine shining down over the Conor Pass. There is a large private car park beside the house.
We like to greet our guests with complimentary tea/coffee and a selection of home baking on arrival, a full breakfast menu is also available and we try to cater for any special dietary request that you may have. We welcome children, travel cots and high chairs and baby-sitting are provided.
We are only five minutes drive from the world famous town of Dingle, the location of many films such as ‘Ryan’s Daughter’, Far and Away, with its many good restaurants and pubs, many of which have nightly music entertainment.
A boat trip can be arranged during the season on one of our passenger boats to see our local friendly dolphin ‘Fungi’, a trip to the Great Blasket Island or a marine eco tour in Dingle Bay. Close by there are numerous blue flag beaches, breathtaking hill walking trails, abundant shore and sea angling, guided archaeological tours, Dingle Aquarium etc.
Our aim is to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience, and do our very best to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday in the Dingle area. Many of our guests have returned to us time and time again and see Dun Roman as a home from home.
Location
We are situated on the main N86 Tralee to Dingle road, midway between the village of Lispole and Dingle town, approx 1km from the Dingle Way walking route.
As part of our service we will deliver our walkers luggage to their next location, and a pre packed lunch can be provided.
Across the road is the Kingdom Tearooms where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea whilst overlooking the lake. |
